Connections Peer Support Center offers a wide range of activities and groups in the areas of Health, Enrichment, and Recovery. Programs are determined by, and very often organized by Connections members, and focus on topics that improve emotional and physical health, and overall quality of life. Programs include, but are not limited to (please click category headers for more detail):
Along with these programs, we also offer:
The Warm Line is intended for individuals who are having a bad day and have no one to talk to, or having a great day and want to tell someone. The Warm Line allows peer-to-peer connections over the phone after hours. Intentional Peer Support training and certification is required for all Connections staff, including those who provide support on our Warm Line. Warm Line operates every day from 5pm to 10pm and can be reached at 1-603-427-6966 or 800-809-6262.
A 13-passenger vehicle is available for transportation to and from the center. Please call Connections at 603-427-6966 by 3:00 the day prior to schedule your ride. The van is also used for field trips, shopping, volunteering, and events in the community. There is no cost to you for this service.
Members are encouraged to invite their family members to visit the center to learn more about peer support and recovery. We can provide them with information about resources in the community and throughout the state that they can access to learn more about their loved ones’ mental health challenges, how to give and get support, and ways that they can advocate for better access to mental health services in New Hampshire.
