THE WARM LINE
A Safe Call, A Caring Voice
At Connections Peer Support, we understand that recovery is not only about groups and in-person support—it’s about knowing that someone will pick up the phone when you need to talk. Our Warm Line offers just that: an evening phone service where trained peers are ready to listen, connect, and support you. Whether you’re struggling, celebrating, or just needing someone to hear you, the Warm Line provides a consistent and caring presence.

A PHONE LINE FOR CONNECTION, NOT INTERVENTION
Unlike hotlines designed for crisis intervention, a Warm Line is a safe, non-judgmental phone line staffed entirely by peers with lived mental health experience. It’s for those moments when you don’t need emergency responders, but you do need someone to listen.
Many callers reach out when:
They’re feeling lonely or isolated
They’re managing anxiety, depression, or stress
They’ve had a good day and want to share it with someone who understands
They need grounding after a challenging experience
They want to hear a familiar, supportive voice in the evening
The Warm Line operates every day from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and can be reached at:
603-427-6966 or 800-809-6262

FREE, SAFE, AND OPEN TO ALL
We believe that mental health support should always be accessible, stigma-free, and safe. The Warm Line is:
- Free and open to all adults in New Hampshire
- Confidential, with staff trained in Peer Support
- Non-clinical, meaning we offer understanding and connection, not diagnoses or prescriptions
- Consistent, so callers often build relationships with the same staff over time
This continuity is especially powerful—many people have spoken to the same Warm Line supporters for years, creating a sense of trust and stability that can be life-changing.
WHY WARM LINES ARE NEEDED MORE THAN EVER
In today’s world, marked by political divisions, growing isolation, and strained healthcare systems, having a safe space to connect is more important than ever. Warm Lines provide an alternative to crisis calls, and give people the chance to be heard by someone who has been there.
By offering a listening ear every night, the Warm Line helps ease loneliness, prevent escalation, and remind callers that recovery is stronger when shared.
WHO ANSWERS THE WARM LINE?
Our Warm Line staff are trained peers—people with lived experience who know what it feels like to need support. They’ve walked their own recovery journeys and completed Peer Support certification to ensure every call is met with compassion, dignity, and understanding.
PICK UP THE PHONE. WE'LL PICK UP TOO.
Whether it’s a tough evening or a moment worth celebrating, the Warm Line is always here. You don’t need an appointment, a referral, or a diagnosis—just a phone and the courage to call.
Open daily, 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
