ENRICHMENT
Creating Space for Growth & Connection
At Connections Peer Support, enrichment means creating opportunities to explore interests, build confidence, and connect with others in meaningful ways. Our programs are designed to foster creativity, build practical skills, and offer peer-led spaces where members can explore identity, voice, and purpose.

Creativity can unlock healing, and our Art sessions do just that. Whether you enjoy painting, drawing, or crafting, these weekly groups offer a welcoming environment to explore visual art—no experience required. Each session is surprise-themed, promoting spontaneity, joy, and connection in community.
Music is another pillar of healing and an all-around great way to add some joy into your life. We meet to sing, play instruments, or simply celebrate how music moves us. Led by peer support staff, this group nurtures emotional expression and shared happiness.
We also host a vibrant Creative Writing program—poetry, short stories, journaling, and letter writing. Many of our members share their works in the Connections newsletter and in group settings, creating space for reflection, storytelling, and peer feedback.
In today’s world, basic computer and internet skills help us stay connected. At Connections, we tailor technology learning to your goals—whether you want to learn typing, email, social media, or online research. Just tell us what you want to know, and we’ll support you on that journey.
Our Job Readiness Skills program is personalized and peer-facilitated. Topics include resume building, applications, interviewing, workplace communication, conflict management, appearance, dependability, and integrating your WRAP into work life. Whether you’re exploring a new job or re-entering the workforce, we meet you where you are.
Financial stress often affects mental health, so we offer Money Matters, facilitated by a certified financial planner. Members can get one-on-one guidance in budgeting, debt management, financial planning, and money confidence.
Finding connection through identity and shared experience is central to recovery. At Connections, we offer groups such as:
Men’s Group/Women’s Group — Smaller peer groups where participants choose topics meaningful to them.
LGBTQ+ Rainbow Group — Meeting weekly to discuss identity, allyship, and community, open to everyone.
Social Justice Group — Exploring current issues, activism, and community engagement through learning and shared action.
Women’s Group — An empowering space for mental health conversations among womxn peers.
Busting Stigma — A group committed to exploring and dismantling shame, guilt, and stigma experiences in society and within ourselves.
ENRICHMENT MATTERS
Enrichment is essential to overall well-being. Through art, writing, music, digital skills, identity work, and financial empowerment, we invite you to discover new parts of yourself, strengthen confidence, and build supportive relationships. These programs are peer-led, free, and open to all members seeking growth, healing, and connection.
